The Last Stand (2006 film)
''The Last Stand'' is a 2006 drama film written and directed by Russ Parr. The film, which marked Parr's debut as a director, was inspired by his experiences a stand-up comic in the 1980s. He had written the script in the late 1990s.
It was released directly onto DVD in July 2006, but had received a screening at the Magic Johnson Theatres in Washington, D.C. in June 2007 and had another screening at the Roxbury Film Festival in Boston after its DVD release.〔Argetsinger, Amy and Roberts, Roxanne (June 22, 2007).
